Mandrake is one of the most ancient of herbs known to mankind and yet it still remains to this time, one of the most misunderstood plants on the planet.

References to Mandrake the Herb go back as far as the Old Testament, even farther back in some ancient eastern manuscripts. Also there was a wide use of Mandrake during the greek and roman ages as well as during the middle and dark ages as well as during the renaissance period. As we enter into the new millenium, we may now have the technology to better understand the secrets this plant has to offer mankind.

This herb is known for its magic, aphrodisiac, healing, halucinogenic as well as poisonous properties. It depends how ones uses it. People over the ages have reported healings, deaths, out of body experiences, increased sex drive and even magic by using it.
